MAXINE REID
Maxine Elizabeth Reid of Hanover passed away on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023 at South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Walkerton, in her 91st year.
Beloved mother of Janice Daize of Durham and Jayme (Laura) of Tiverton.
Grandma of Britt and Will.
She will be dearly missed by her sister Hilda Leader of Abbotsford and her brother Morley (Marjorie) Tanner of Hanover, and she will be remembered by her sisters-in-law Leona and Barbara Reid, both of Guelph, as well as by many nieces and nephews.
Maxine was predeceased by her husband Gordon, brothers-in-law Cecil Leader, Melville Reid, Howard (Laura) Reid, George Reid, Albert (Margaret (1980), Mina (2004)) Reid, Lawrence Reid (in infancy), sister-in-law Carrie (Eric) Harris, and her parents Harry and Lottie Tanner.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023 at Cameron’s Funeral Home in Walkerton. Visitation was also held for one hour prior to the funeral service, which took place at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 18, 2023 at Cameron’s Funeral Home in Walkerton. A livestream of the service was made available from Maxine’s memorial page.
Interment in Tiverton Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre, Tiverton.
