Ripley lost a close game in Clinton last Friday night, 3-2, to go down two games to zero in the series. The Wolves bounced back at home, with a 4-1 win on Saturday night.
On Friday night in Clinton, Logan Swanton scored with an assist from Alex Kuntz. Cody Britton scored the other goal from Brett Catto and Tyler McCarthy. Jason Hamilton took the loss in net.
Saturday night in Ripley, in front of a full arena, the Wolves scored three goals in the third period, to come away with a 4-1 win.
The first period ended in a 1-1 tie. Swanton scored on the power play with a slap shot from the blueline. Catto and Garrett Meurs assisted on the power play goal. Clinton also scored on the power play in the first period.
Dan Nicolof roofed the puck just under the bar, early in the third period, on a nice passing play from Kuntz and Jarrett Kuntz. Meurs scored on another nice passing play from Catto and Britton. Jared Colling scored in the empty net, with assists from Garrett Satosek and Tyler McCarthy.
Game four is in Clinton on Friday night at 8:30 p.m., with game five back in Ripley on Saturday night at 7 p.m.

The Kincardine Bulldogs split a pair of road games on the weekend.
Saturday night in Goderich, the Bulldogs won 3-2. Carter Servais,Steven Grant and Bryce McFadden all scored. Ryan Tanner picked up the win in net, stopping 30 of 32 shots.
Sunday in Mount Forest, the Bulldogs lost 7-3. Gavin Downs, Grant and McFadden all scored for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs will play Wingham in the first round of playoffs. Kincardine will be at home Friday night at 8:30 p.m. and on Sunday afternoon .They will travel to Wingham on Saturday night.
