The Oakridge Oaks pounded the South Lions in a TVRA boys baseball game on Thursday at Royal Field in Dorchester. The Oaks scored 12 runs in the second inning on their way to a 15-5 win in a game was called after four innings. The high school season is starting earlier than usual because of a large increase in the number of teams, so Royal Field is in constant use because it has artificial turf and grass fields aren’t available.
