Q+A: Opiyo Oloya, Western University equity, diversity and inclusion leader

Ugandan native Opiyo Oloya is Western University’s first associate vice-president of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI). A social justice advocate, he fled his war-ravaged homeland in 1981 and wrote a book called Child to Soldier that examines the world of child soldiers in the army of Joseph Kony, leader of a guerrila group that used to operate in Uganda.
