One dead after vehicle hits house
A single vehicle collision north of London has claimed the life of a driver.
The Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police were called to Elginfield Road east of Roman Line around 9:50 p.m. Sunday. According to police, a vehicle left the road and hit a house.
The driver of the vehicle, 69-year-old Jadwiga Piasecki of Bayfield, was rushed to hospital but died of her injuries.
Police say the homeowners were not injured.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled for a later date, police said.
