Police search for stolen dog and truck

Police are searching for a dog, along with the vehicle he was inside of when both were reported stolen from a north London parking lot.

At around 4:30 p.m. Monday, officers were called about a pickup truck that was stolen from a parking lot near the area of Fanshawe Park Road and Richmond Street. A pet dog was inside the vehicle at the time it was stolen police say.

The stolen vehicle is described as a black, 2002 Chevrolet Silverado with an orange trim around the hood and grill of the vehicle. It has Ontario plates AP44762.

Jaxx, the one-year-old pup inside the truck when it was taken, is described as a Mastiff-Shepherd mix. He is approximately 60 lbs with brown fur. Jaxx also wears a red collar.

Police are asking the public to not approach the vehicle if observed, but instead contact police immediately.
