Westario crews working on outage in Harriston area

Westario Power is working to restore hydro for customers in Harriston who are currently experiencing an unplanned outage.

A statement from Westario says “425 Westario Power customers in the Town of Harriston are experiencing an unplanned outage due to adverse weather conditions, resulting in broken utility poles. Crews have initiated restoration efforts to restore power to the majority of customers by approximately 1:00 p.m. However. 75 customers in the Pellister and Webb Street area will continue to experience the outage while crews replace the broken poles – ETR is unknown for these customers.”

More information will be made available as Westario makes progress on the restoration.
