Preserving farmland for farming

It comes as no surprise that farmland in this part of Ontario is the most expensive in Canada, according to recent news stories. This land surrounded by the Great Lakes is blessed with ample rainfall, rich soil, and a long growing season. The problem is, land in an area that has a fairly pleasant climate, at least in comparison
