REV. PETER STOPFORD
Reverend Peter Arthur Stopford of Kincardine, passed away at Trillium Court, Kincardine on Tuesday, February 21st, 2023, at age 87.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Marion Stopford (née Waud) who predeceased him in 2021.
Remembered by his children, Andrew Stopford (Valerie), Matthew Stopford (Kim), Sandra Benbow (Rodney), John Stopford (Maggie) and Elspeth Cholagh (David), 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother David Stopford (Rosemary).
Predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Phyllis (née Mucklestone) Stopford and sister Joyce Bone (Jack).
Visitation will be held at the Lighthouse Fellowship Baptist Church, Kincardine on Friday, March 3rd, 2023, from 12 noon until time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m, with Pastor Stephen Gordon officiating. Reception to follow.
