London man charged with child pornography offences

A 47-year-old London man is facing charges for allegedly accessing and possessing child pornography.

Officers with the London police internet child exploitation unit searched a home on Crumlin Sideroad last Friday as part of an ongoing investigation. Electronic devices were seized from the home.

As a result of the investigation James R. Engl of London was arrested, police said on Monday.

He has been charged with two counts of unlawfully possessing child pornography and one count of unlawfully accessing child pornography. Engl is scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charges on March 14.
