West Grey resident sentenced to six years in prison

A West Grey resident has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to drug trafficking.

West Grey Police initiated an investigation into a suspected drug dealer last year, obtaining a search warrant that led to a “substantial seizure” of Crystal Meth, Fentanyl, and Cannabis.

A 31-year-old man was charged with with possession of Meth and Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possession of Cannabis for distributing.

According to police, the accused pled guilty to the charges on January 30.
