Obituary – Agnes Buckingham

AGNES BUCKINGHAM

Agnes Jean Buckingham, beloved wife of 65 years to Lloyd A. Buckingham, passed away at Pinecrest Manor in Lucknow on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, in her 94th year.
She was born in Teeswater on Oct. 21, 1929 to the late Lauretta (Donaldson) and Peter Moffat. Dear mother of Laurie (Randy) Alton, Brenda (Dale) Shewfelt, Tracey (Brad) Aitchison and Michael (Leanne) Buckingham.
Greatly missed by grandchildren: Kelsie (Ryan), Marlee (Ben), Jamie (Dakota), Logan (Emma), Riley (Matt), Erin (Nathaniel) and Zachary; and great-grandchildren Crew, Harvey, Theodore and Brooks.
Also survived by brothers-in-law Jim MacKenzie and Kerry (Shirley) Buckingham.
Predeceased by her three sisters: Evelyn Splan, Emma Peter and Catherine MacKenzie and grandson Nash Aitchison.
Her hands were always busy, whether it was sewing, knitting, making blankets, baking or just taking care of her children and grandchildren. Family was always most important to her and Agnes said many times that she wouldn’t do anything in her life any different.
A public visitation was held from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, 2023 at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home in Lucknow, which was followed by a private family funeral service.
Spring interment South Kinloss Cemetery.
