Norfolk OPP are looking for three suspects involved in an armed home invasion in Simcoe early Saturday.
Police were called to a home on Highland Avenue at around 3:20 a.m.
Cst. Ed Sanchuk said the suspects, armed with handguns, gained entry to the home, woke up the occupants and demanded property. One of the victims was assaulted, resulting in minor injuries.
The suspects then fled the scene in a white vehicle in an unknown direction at a high rate of speed.
Police said the suspects are described as black males in their early twenties with slim builds and approximately 5’5″ in height. One of the three suspects was wearing black framed glasses.
Anyone with information or video surveillance of the area is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leave an anonymous online message at helpsolvecrime.com.
Police said updates will be provided when they become available.
