Police search for missing man with ties to Grey County

Provincial police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing man with ties to Grey County.

In a release earlier this week, Dufferin OPP say 34-year-old Richard Monk was last seen in Shelburne on September 22nd.

He is described as white, 5’8″, 165lbs, athletic build, brown hair but balding, with a trimmed beard, blue eyes and tanned complexion.

He was last seen wearing a grey sweater and blue jeans with a grey baseball cap.

Police say he likes to visit the area of Mono Cliffs Park and has ties to Grey County.

He is believed to be driving a white Acura TLX with the license plate: BVMS 399.

Anyone with information on Monk’s whereabouts is asked to call Dufferin OPP at 1-888-310-1112 or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous at 1-800-822-8477 (TIPS) or www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
