Pedestrian dies following Simcoe collision

A 75-year-old is dead following a collision in Simcoe on Friday.

Shortly before 8 a.m., Norfolk County OPP responded to a collision at the intersection of Mann Avenue and Rutherford Drive.

According to police, a pedestrian and motor vehicle collided.

The 75-year-old pedestrian from Norfolk County was transported to a local area hospital to be treated for undetermined injuries.

On Saturday, the individual passed away in the hospital. The name of the deceased is not being released pending notifications to next-of-kin.
