Stratford-Perth Shelterlink looking for new board members

Stratford-Perth Shelterlink is seeking applications from interested individuals to join their board of directors for a three-year term.

In a release, Shelterlink states that they “provide Perth County youth ages 16-24 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless with shelter, basic needs, support, community aid and advocacy services.” They are looking particularly, if possible, for applicants with backgrounds in finance, legal, and human resources, but anyone interested from a background in housing, homelessness and the youth sector, or who just wants to help, is encouraged to apply.

The release states that “applications will close August 29th with new board members joining the board at Shelterlink’s annual general meeting in mid-September.”

Interested parties can apply for the role at https://forms.gle/PN9dHZNdVaJAv5hPA and questions can be sent to shelterlinkboard@gmail.com or they can reach the board via Shelterlink’s social media channels.
