Police determine four men involved in attempted jewellery store robbery

London police now believe four men were involved in an attempted jewellery store heist in Lambeth that left one person with minor injuries.

Investigators determined two men, one armed with a hammer, the other with a gun, walked into Bella Jewelry at 2479 Main St. around 3 p.m. on Monday, while two others remained outside. One of the men inside the store began smashing display cases before the owner intervened and all four left empty handed.

One person suffered minor injuries, police said.

The four suspects were last seen headed southbound in a ‘Kia Sorento EX’ with black rims and rear tinted windows. The vehicle had been reported stolen to the Toronto police on June 14.

On Friday, police released security camera images of all four suspects and the suspect vehicle in hopes someone will be able to identify the men.

Three of the suspects are described as Black. One had a thin build and was wearing a black face mask, a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, grey sneakers, and white gloves. He was in possession of a hammer. The second had a medium build and was wearing a black jacket, black pants, grey gloves, blue sneakers, and was in possession of a silver handgun. The third suspect had a thin build and was wearing a black jacket, black track pants, black running shoes, and grey gloves.

The fourth suspect was lighter-skinned with a muscular build. He was wearing a black jacket, black baseball hat, blue medical mask, white t-shirt, grey sweatpants, white running shoes, and grey gloves.
