Police urging residents to make sure property is secured

A recent theft near Meaford has Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police reminding the public to be vigilant in both securing items, as well as ensuring property they purchase from sellers online has not been stolen.

According to a release, between May 23rd and 26th, unknown suspects attended a property in the Municipality of Meaford.

Several items have been reported stolen, including a cargo trailer, lawn mowers, gardening tools, saws, gas cans and a snow blower.

Police say that a white Ford pickup truck with chrome-coloured rims was observed entering the property on May 25th, and is considered to be of interest regarding this ongoing investigation.
