CHRISTINA WEYLIE

 

Christina Mary Weylie (neé MacLean), a former councillor of 27 years in the City of Kitchener who subsequently lived in Kincardine, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2022 while visiting with her daughter at her home in Weston-super-Mare, England, following a short illness after a diagnosis of a brain tumour. She was 83.
Christina was an only child, born Jan. 12, 1939 to Donald and Bertha Lillie MacLean in Fort William, Ontario (now Thunder Bay).
Predeceased by her parents, and her husband Donald G. MacLeod, of Cambridge.
Survived by, and she will be greatly missed and continues to be loved by, her son and daughter-in-law Donald and Daniela, her granddaughters Montana and Magnolia and her daughter Catherine.

Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2022 and from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2002 at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St S, Waterloo. Memorial gifts will be greatly received by the funeral home. The celebration of Christina’s life and a memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen Street North, Kitchener.
