Provincial police say one person is dead after a collision on Longwoods Road west of London.
Middlesex OPP, along with the Southwest Middlesex Fire Department and Middlesex-London Paramedic Service, were called to the intersection of Longwoods Road and Pratt Siding Road east of Wardsville just after noon on Wednesday.
According to police, a tanker truck and a passenger vehicle collided in the intersection.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, who was alone in the vehicle, was killed. Police have not said if the tanker truck driver was injured.
Police are still investigating and have closed Longwoods Road between Old Airport Road and Pratt Siding Road.
It’s expected to be late afternoon before the road is re-opened.
