Glorious Sons, The Trews part of all-Canadian night at Start.ca Rocks the Park

A third night of music has been added to this summer’s Start.ca Rocks the Park, this one featuring an all-Canadian line-up.

The Glorious Sons, July Talk, Big Wreck, The Trews, and Conor Gains are all slated to perform at the music festival in Harris Park on July 14.

“We’re grateful to be able to showcase these artists who may not have had the opportunity to perform in the last two years, and we are way overdue for some outdoor summer fun,” festival organizer Brad Jones said in a statement. “So let’s get together this summer to enjoy great music with even better friends, and put some rock back into Rock the Park.”

Start.ca Rocks the Park has not been held since 2019, as the global pandemic led to tight restrictions on large gatherings that forced organizers to hit the pause button on concerts in the green space.

Its return this year will kick off on July 13 with performances by Alanis Morissette, Garbage, the Beaches, and Crash Test Dummies. On July 15, the festival will feature TLC, Nelly, Aqua, 2 Live Crew, Arrested Development, and Jenny Berggren of Ace of Base. The line-up for the final day of the festival on July 16 has yet to be announced.

Tickets to the July 13 and July 15 dates are already on sale, while tickets to the July 14 show go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. online at www.rockthepark.ca or by phone at 519-672-1967.
