Teenager suffers life-threatening injuries following disturbance

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Oxford County Paramedic Service (EMS) responded to the report of a disturbance at a residence in Norwich Township on Friday night.

OPP said that at approximately 10:38 p.m. officers were dispatched to an address on Main Street East.

Police reported that as a result of an altercation at the residence a 16-year-old suffered an injury from an edged weapon.

The teenager was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
