Plows at work, squalls ending this morning

A healthy dose of snow fell overnight, but the weather radar is showing the snow fall is slowing down in most areas.

There is still some activity north of Wiarton on the Bruce Peninsula. Otherwise there are some small scattered areas of flurries.

Road conditions are described as partly snow covered to snow covered.

Visibility is reduced along the Highway 21 corridor north of Kincardine and northeast towards Owen Sound. There is also reduced visibility on the Bruce Peninsula. There are also reports of blowing snow across Bruce County in open areas which could affect visibility.

Through Huron County, provincial highways and county roads are described as partly snow covered, again be aware of blowing snow in open areas.

In Perth County, reduced visibility is reported along the Highway 23 corridor north of Mitchell up through Listowel and into Palmerston.

There is also reduced visibility on Highway 6 Arthur to Mount Forest.

And again, be aware of changing conditions in open areas where blowing snow could be a factor.
