A West Grey man is facing several charges after police arrived at a residence to find an elderly man covered in blood.
The incident happened Tuesday at a residence on Concession 2 in former Glenelg Township of West Grey after police received a 911 call.
Police say they arrived to find an injured 70-year-old man. His injuries were treated at the scene and are not considered life-threatening.
Officers arrested a 38-year-old man from West Grey at the scene. He faces several charges, including assault with a weapon and two counts of mischief.
The accused has been transported to police headquarters where he is being held pending a bail hearing.
