An investigation into images of the sexual abuse of children has led to charges against a London man.
According to London police, the investigation by the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit began after it was given information by the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children.
“On Wednesday, October 27, 2021, members of the LPS ICE Unit, with the assistance of the Digital Forensic Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Colborne Street, and seized a cellular phone and a USB storage device,” police said.
A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of making available child pornopraphy.
Police say the accused has been released from custody and is to appear in court January 24, 2022.
