Obituary – Dorothy Witzke

Dorothy Louise Witzke, of Kincardine and formerly of Chesley, passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Chesley on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, two weeks before her 95th birthday.
Loving mother of Bill (Barb) McKeag of Kincardine, Donna McKeag (Joe) of Port Elgin and James (Joanne) McKeag of Port Perry, and stepmother of Jim (Yvonne) Witzke of Chesley, Judy Ruhl (Barry) of Owen Sound, Jan Witzke of Sudbury, and Marlene Witzke of Desboro. Cherished grandmother to 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her first husband Wally McKeag (1968), her second husband Herb Witzke (2003), and stepsons Larry Witzke and Bob Witzke.
A private funeral service celebrating Dorothy’s life will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021 at Rhody Family Funeral Home in Chesley.
Interment in Chesley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation or the Church of Messiah in Kincardine would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
