South Bruce Peninsula to rename street after local war veteran and humanitarian
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is renaming a street to honour a significant resident of the community.
In a release, the municipality says they will be officially renaming Claude Street in Wiarton to Arthur Haley Way in honour of Mr. Haley, who was a war veteran and local humanitarian.
The unveiling and ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 26th at 11:30 a.m., and Mayor Janice Jackson and other council members will be in attendance along with Arthur’s family to commemorate the new street.
