It now costs more to camp at many Michigan state parks
As of August 1, many of Michigan’s 103 state parks increased rates for camping and overnight lodging. According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the reason for the increase is to keep pace with the cost of utilities, equipment, and staff.
