Huron County OPP officers are on scene of a fatal collision involving a horse & buggy and an SUV.
This morning at approximately 8:17 a.m. Huron County OPP, South Bruce OPP, Huron County Paramedic Services and North Huron Fire Department responded to the collision scene located on Howick-Turnberry Road (Huron County Road #7) near Kieffer Line.
The operator of the horse and buggy was transported from the scene to hospital; however they were later pronounced deceased.
Two occupants from the SUV were transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team will be attending the scene to assist with the collision investigation.
Howick-Turnberry Road (Huron County Road #7) has been closed between London Road (Huron County #4) in Wingham and Belmore Line (Huron County #12). The road is also blocked at Kieffer Line. Please take an alternate route to avoid delays.
