Two charged, stolen vehicle flips, in east-end crash
Two Londoners are facing charges after a stolen vehicle struck a car and flipped over following a dust-up in a parking lot in the city’s east.
London police said a group of people were arguing in a Hamilton Road parking lot about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday when one man struck another with a baseball bat. The group entered a nearby vehicle in the parking lot, which headed east on Hamilton and struck a car in the area of Crimson Crescent and flipped onto its side.
Five people got out and ran from the vehicle, police said.
One man was arrested and faces several charges including possession of property obtained by crime and assault with a weapon. A London woman is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.
The investigation continues, with both people charged expected to appear in a London court Friday.
