No one hurt after stolen truck hits school bus

It was fortunate no children were on board at the time.

London police say a school bus was rear-ended by a pickup truck in the area of Jalna Boulevard and Josselyn Drive around 7:40 a.m. on Monday.

A man and woman ran from the pickup following the crash. Police later determined the truck had been reported stolen.

The bus was just about to begin its morning route when the collision took place, so there weren’t any kids on board. The bus driver was also not hurt.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.

They are asking anyone with information about this incident to call them at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
