Officers investigating after firearms incident
The West Grey Police Service is investigating a recent firearms incident in Varney.
On October 5th, police responded to a call regarding a weapon in Varney. Investigators determined that a shot was fired during a domestic dispute. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived. Officers conducted a thorough search of the area but did not locate the suspect. West Grey Police Service is currently seeking a warrant for the arrest of a 35-year-old Varney native for multiple criminal code and firearms offences.
