London fire officials say no one was injured after a fire broke out above a bar on Richmond Street.
At around 5 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters were called to the Richmond Tavern on the corner of Richmond and King streets for a building fire.
Crews arrived and heavy smoke could be seen coming from above the main floor of the bar. Firefighters worked to stop the blaze from spreading to the upper floors and had the fire under control a short time later.
No one was injured during the incident.
A fire investigator has been called to determine the origin and cause. A damage estimate has not yet been provided.
