Drug charges laid after investigation in Meaford

Grey Bruce OPP have laid charges against two people following the execution of a search warrant.

On September 23rd, officers alongside members of the Community Street Crimes Unit and West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at an address on Sykes Street in Meaford.

Police seized a quantity of methamphetamine, along with digital scales, cell phones and meth pipes.

The value of the seized drugs is $4,200.

A 52-year-old Meaford resident and a 40-year-old from Collingwood were both arrested and are facing drug related charges.

Both of the accused have a court date set for October 21st to answer to the charges which have yet to be proven in court.
