Ausable Bayfield Conservation ends flood warning for parts of the watershed

The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority has ended a flood warning for parts of the watershed in Midwestern Ontario, but the it remains in effect for Lambton Shores and North Middlesex. The Flood Warning was issued on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

A media release from the Authority said watercourse levels are expected to remain high through the weekend, with a chance of additional rain.

Rainfall totals collected through the ABCA’s stream gauge network were in the range of 60-130 mm, with an average of 90 mm. The heavy rains resulted in road closures on all Middlesex County roads, and all roads within several municipalities.
